When Hitler Stole the Pink Rabbit
The film When Hitler Stole the Pink Rabbit is the film adaptation of Judith Kerr's autobiographical bestseller, which is about a girl and her family who are forced into exile shortly before World War II sets Europe ablaze.
Anna is unaware of who Hitler is. She is too busy with school and friends to notice Hitler's face adorning posters all over Berlin. But when her father disappears one day and the family secretly leaves Germany, Anna begins to understand that the man on the posters is about to change all of Europe and that life will never be the same again.

The historical drama is directed by Caroline Link, who won an Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category for Lost in Africa in 2003.
