Den Tredje Bølge - The Third Wave

Johan Falk is tired of his job as a policeman. It doesn't pay to catch crooks. They don't get punished anyway. Now he's unemployed. He would rather move to the countryside and take care of his new family. But things don't go as he had planned. Detective Inspector Sellberg was once Johan's boss and mentor. Now he's the new head of the organized crime department at Europol, the EU's own police organization. Organized crime is growing explosively and threatening to break the social structure of the entire EU. Sellberg forms a special working group - a "task force" - to fight the big economic criminals. Johan Falk is a self-described member of this tough group. This turns out to be the beginning of a long series of nightmarish incidents of violence, fraud and death, when an entire continent is about to be stolen.
