Flake White hue (11108)

Oil painters should note: “Flake White hue” (11108) is an excellent lead-free alternative to the classic “Cremnitz white” . Instead of the toxic lead white pigment, it contains a combination of the titanium white and zinc white pigments ground in a special clear and purified quality of oil produced from the seeds of safflowers.

Flake White hue has a light, warm white shade . It has slightly lower opacity and brightening effect than titanium white. When mixed with other oil colours, it has the effect of accelerating the drying time and increasing the durability of the colour layer. Oil colours mixed with flake White hue also obtain a smooth, buttery consistency.

Flake White hue is available in 35 ml and 120 ml tubes and can be combined with all Sch mincke oil colours and mediums.
