Ultra safe lithium battery: We build each Yeti with high quality lithium cells, known for stability, monitored by a state-of-the-art battery management system that prevents overcharging, overcurrent and short circuiting. The battery pack is closed in a waterproof case that seals it from the elements and allows for a replaceable system that can be replaced, giving the total life of the product.

Three ways to charge the Yeti:

• Charge from the sun by connecting a compatible solar panel. Charging time depends on the size of the solar panel. The Boulder 200 Briefcase will fully charge the Yeti 1500X in approximately 14-25 hours.
• Plug it into the wall. Fully charged in 12.5 hours. Pro tip: Buy an extra wall charger to reduce the charge by 70%.
• The Goal Zero Yeti 1500X can be charged by connecting the vehicle's 12V socket using the Goal Zero Yeti Lithium 12V car charging cable. NOTE: Do not attempt to charge Yeti Lithium from a 12V source using any other cable. This may cause damage to the device.
