Ingibjörg Rósa has worked as a reporter and
journalist at The Reykjavík Grapevine, The
Icelandic Broadcasting Service and daily
Morgunblaðið. From 2007 to 2012 she was a
contributing columist for Iceland Review's
website, remininscing her wonderful childhood
years and the community she grew up in, trying
to demonstrate why contemporary Icelanders are
the way they are today. She grew up on a farm in
South Iceland, close to the scenic village Vík,
where she later lived and worked as a teacher
before moving to the capital to study English
and Journalism at the University of Iceland.
Ingibjörg Rósa curerntly lives in London,
England, where she works as a freelance
journalist, writes her first (never-ending)
novel, shows Icelandic visitors around her
adoptive city and makes plans to open a
bokkshop. But she remains Icelandic at heart.
Always.
