Aurora vases / Norðurljós vasar

Aurora vases are porcelain vases that comes in two sizes.

The vases connect the beauty of what the northern sky often displays on cold winter nights and the harshness of what the nature creates.

Outside is white unglazed porcelain mixed with ash from our famous Eyjafjallajökull, that last erupted in 2010 and on the top of each vase is mix of glazes that create these beautiful colors and movements that remind us of the northern lights.

Each vase is handmade and unique.

Norðurljós vasar eru postulíns vasar sem vísa í norðurljósin og náttúruna.

Utan á vösunum er ösku úr Eyjafjallajökli, sem gaus svo eftirminnilega árið 2010, blandað saman við hvítt postulínið. Ofan á hverjum vasa eru litbrigði og hreyfing sem minna okkur á dans norðurljósanna á köldum vetrarkvöldum.
